Mad Magazine illustrator Tom Richmond created 'bobble head' caricatures of all the Senators and Representatives in the 111th Congress for a "Bobble Rep" iPhone app. The informational-database app was designed by movie director Ray Griggs and programmed by Stevo Brock.
On November 8, 2009, Richmond's "Bobble Rep" iPhone app was rejected by Apple because it "ridicules public figures." In a blog post, Richmond said the rejection was "truly ridiculous" and said the caricatures are "fun cartoon likenesses of the politicians and the purpose of the app is a informational database."http://www.tomrichmond.com/blog/2009/11/09/apple-rejects-my-caricature-app/
