  • Two-time Walter Camp college football Coach of the Year Bob Stoops serves as the head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners in the NCAA.

    Following the January 3, 2009, firing of Denver Broncos Head Coach Mike Shanahan, Stoops was rumored to be in the running for the coaching vacancy. Stoops denied the claims stating that he has not been contacted by the Broncos.
