Bob Skelding, of New Hampshire, set out for a cross country trip on a home made wagon, pulled by four horses, in July 2008. On February 10, 2009, Skelding's wagon was hit by a tanker truck near Meridian, Mississippi. Skelding underwent surgery to repair internal injuries.
