  • Bob Love is a three time NBA All-Star, currently working as a motivational speaker and Director of Community Affairs for the Chicago Bulls. Personal obstacles Love has overcome include chronic stuttering and a disabling back injury. Having left the NBA in 1977, disabled and unable to speak, he worked low-wage jobs. After seeking speech therapy, Love was hired by the Bulls to direct community outreach. Love is one of the subjects of the ESPN documentary Black Magic, a two part series chronicling the segregation of college basketball and its effects on the careers of black athletes, from the 1940s to the 1970s.
