The father of Hilary Duff, Bob Duff was arrested on August 27, 2008 on charges of contempt of court. Bob Duff allegedly sold $367,537 in stock after separating from his wife, Susan Duff, without the permission of the courts. The two have been involved in an ongoing divorce settlement and were in court because Susan petitioned to get Bob to pay half of the cost of Hilary's 21st birthday party.
