Libertarian presidential nominee Bob Barr is reported to have sent a letter to former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, asking him to be his running mate on the 2008 presidential ticket. Bob Barr's current running mate, Wayne Allyn Root, says that he would be willing to step down if it meant the advancement of liberty.

@allahpundit Agreed, if you want to change the GOP do it from within. Who made a greater impact Ron Paul or Bob Barr? 3rd parties wont work.
