Vincent Edward "Bo" Jackson is a retired All-Star outfielder in Major League Baseball and a Pro Bowl running back in the National Football League. He also gained iconic status with his Nike "Bo Knows" commercials. Hip injuries forced him to retire from both sports prematurely.
On April 21, 2009, Jackson opened the Burr Ridge Bank and Trust, a suburban Chicago bank that he co-owns. Despite the current economic downturn, Jackson stated he wanted to be a part of a "small community bank... owned by the people who live in the community."CBS2 Chicago: Former Sports Star Bo Jackson To Open New Bank
