Bo Diddley was a pioneering rock & roll guitarist and songwriter who helped influence countless blues and rock musicians. Diddley moved to Chicago as a boy, where he first picked up guitar and began performing around town. In the 1950s, Diddley signed to Chess Records and released over 40 albums during his career. His signature rhythm didn't sell a large number of records, but Diddley's songs have been covered by many well-known artists through the years, including Eric Clapton and Buddy Holly.
