General Information
The BMW iPod Connector is an adapter which attaches to the back of the car audio system then to an iPod located within the glovebox of select BMW cars. It was developed with the collaboration of BMW and Apple. The audio system operates in the same fashion as a CD changer. It features the ability to shuffle and navigate through songs using the audio system or steering wheel controls. The connector also charges the iPod for use outside of the vehicle. The device is compatible with any iPod which has a iPod dock connector. Five unique BMW play lists can be created for playback in the car by using iTunes.
