  • The BMW 7 Series is a full sized luxury sedan that was first introduced in 1977. The 4th generation of the 7 series debuted in 2002 with the E65. The 7 Series is the flagship model for BMW's lineup and is currently available with 2 different gasoline engines. BMW also plans limited production of the Hydrogen 7, which is capable of running on gasoline or hydrogen. Competitors of the 7 include the Lexus LS, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and Cadillac DTS.
