Blurred Vision Treatment
Treatment for blurred vision will depend on what the underlying cause is. Vision problems such as myopia, presbyopia or astigmatism might require corrective lenses, or a change to an existing eye wear prescription. Some conditions such as cataracts might be treated with surgery. Conditions such as glaucoma can sometimes be controlled with the use of eye drops. Other conditions might be treated with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications or laser treatments.MedicineNet: Treatment MedicineNet: How is Glaucoma Treated Mayo Clinic: Treatments and Drugs Richmond Eye Associates: Introduction: Blurred vision
What Is Astigmatism? : Examples of Astigmatism
In this YouTube video, Dr. James W. Kirkconnell talks about the several different types of astigmatism. In some cases, both focus points from the cornea can fall short of the retina. In other cases, they can also over shoot the retina. Cases where one focus points falls directly on the cornea can result in less blurriness than other types, but you're still going to experience decreased clarity along with extra tiredness and fatigue.
