The Blue Collar Comedy Tour is the name of a highly successful tour of stand-up comedians. Jeff Foxworthy, a comedian, enlisted three of his comedy buddies to go on tour with him. Jeff Foxworthy along with Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White toured together as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. They presented themselves as the hard working class, therefore the "blue collar" name. Their shows depicted four working men that were of the people, even though they ended up all becoming millionaires. Each comedian had their own act and it's humor invoked a kind of Southern sensibility with jokes about what it was like living in the South.http://comedians.about.com/od/glossary/g/bluecollarcomedy.htm
Most of Foxworthy's comedy act revolved around jokes that started with "You might be a redneck..." or the way it manipulates your idea of America. Most of the comedy routine, except for Ron White, was "family friendly." Even though they were heavy on insinuations, most of the four Blue Collar Comedians stayed away from working in blue. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour ran for six years starting in January 2000 in Omaha, Nebraska and ended up finishing at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. in 2006.http://comedians.about.com/od/comedytours/p/bluecollartour.htm
