About the Game

Blood Bowl is an adaptation of the Games Workshop board game created by Jervis Johnson in 1987. The game is a parody of American football and is set in a universe similar to that of the Warhammer series.

In 1995, a PC turn-based strategy game named Blood Bowl was released by MicroLeague. Although based on the same board game, Blood Bowl 2009 is not a remake or port of the prior game.

There are eight playable races in Blood Bowl: human, orc, dwarf, lizardman, skaven, goblins, chaos and wood elves.
