In 2004, French game developer Cyanide created the game Chaos League, which quickly led to a lawsuit do to that game's resemblance to Blood Bowl. The out-of-court settlement resulted in Cyanide receiving a license to develop an official Blood Bowl game, which will not be a port of the previous title.GameSpot: Cyanide now plays in Blood Bowl (June 27, 2006)
