Blogging is a form of digital communication that is posted on a website, usually available to be read by anyone with access to the Internet, in contrast to e-mail, which is a message directed to specific individuals. A blog usually consists of a reverse-chronological series of dated journal entries, and may include photos, videos and audio files. Bloggers frequently encourage dialogue with their readers by allowing them to post comments on the site.
