• Bloc Party is an English rock band fronted by Kele Okereke. Hailing from east London, Bloc Party plays artful Guitar Rock with Punk and Pop overtones. The band burst onto the American indie rock scene with the release of 2005's Silent Alarm, an album that garnered much critical acclaim, with NME Magazine naming it their "Album of the Year." The band is currently working on its third full-length studio album, saying it will be "a lot less textured than the last record..a bit like the rawer, earlier Bloc."
