Blizzcon

The Blizzard Conference (BlizzCon for short) is an annual gathering event held by Blizzard Entertainment for celebrating their most popular games - namely the Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft series.

Last BlizzCon was held on August 21-22, 2009 where heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne did a special live performance for the event.

BlizzCon 2009 took place last August 21-22 2009 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Focusing on their latest games, as well as upcoming ones (Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3), BlizzCon delivered developer panels, giving players the chance to interact and discuss the development process with Blizzard Entertainment developers themselves.

Standard to other BlizzCon events in the past, this year also gave away a freebie "goody bag" which includes a Starcraft 2 "Raynor" unit figure.

Ozzy Osbourne did a special live performance during the event.
