About Blitz: The League II
Blitz: The League II is the sequel to Midway's 2005 football game Blitz: The League. Offered by the developers as an alternative to other "watered-down" football games currently on the market. A new precision-aim tackle feature allows players to target specific areas of an opponent's body and then watch the bloody results in slow motion. Peter Egan, staff writer for ESPN's series Playmakers, wrote the story for Campaign Mode.
