  • Blink 182 are a Pop Punk band from Poway, California who formed in 1992. The band, comprising of bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker and guitarist Tom DeLonge, announced they were going on an "indefinite hiatus" in 2005 in order to pursue other projects.

    The hiatus was officially ended in early 2009, when the band announced that it had convened in the studio to record new material. They played their first public performance in over four years on May 14, 2009 at a T-Mobile corporate event in Paramount Studios.     The band is known for their wacky antics and simple, pop-friendly punk sound. During the late 1990s and early 21st century, Blink had a series of commercially successful hits, including "All the Small Things", "What's My Age Again", "First Date" and "Adam's Song." Their breakout album Enema of the State was certified 6x platinum.
