Blessthefall is a Christian-oriented quintet which have some hip-hop and metal influences.
History
The band was formed in 2004, but their origins began in 2002, when high-school friends Mike Frisby and Matt Traynor began playing together. Two years later singer Craig Mabbitt and bassist Jared Warth joined them. In 2005, they released a three-song EP. During the making of the EP, guitarist Eric Lambert joined them to complete the final lineup of the band. They began to give concerts with religious themes in Phoenix with band Greeley Estates.
Now touring
The band quickly caught the attention of Warner subsidiary Science Records with which they signed in 2006. Subsequently the band began to tour in the United States and Canada with bands Alesana and Norma Jean. On April 10, 2007, they released their debut album, His Last Walk and completed the Warped Tour. In December of that year, they made their first tour of Europe and for personal reasons Mabbit left the band. They will participate on the worldwide Taste Of Chaos tour along with fellow bands Idiot Pilot, Bullet For My Valentine, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold.
