The show Bleach follows the story of a teen boy named Krosaki Ichigo who can see spirits. • Episode 1: A Shinigami Is Born!: Ichigo Krosaki, who is a 15-year-old boy, is the hero of the show with the ability to see ghosts. The episodes starts out with Ichigo helping a young girl ghost. The next day, Ichigo finds her again, but this time she is about to get eaten by a monster. However, a soul reaper, Rukia Kuchiki comes and saves both Ichigo and the girl. Rukia is surprised that Ichigo, a human, can see her due to her being a spirit. While Rukia is visiting Ichigo, a Hollow monster appears and attacks and terrorizes, Ichigo, Ichigo's family, and Rukia. • Episode 2: Pay or Play: Following from last episode's attack, Ichigo decides to visit his family and see how they are doing and find out that they do not remember any of the attack. Rukia poses as an exchange student in Ichigo's school until she gains her powers back. Rukia instructs Ichigo that he must take her position of Soul Reaper until her powers return. • Episode 3: Sibling Rivalry: In this episode, Orihime and her school friend, Tasuki are attacked by the Hollow monster (who used to be Orihime's brother). Ichigo appears and attacks the Hollow (who is the spirit controlling Orihime's brother). Orihime's brother is struggling to get control, but unfortunately his sister, Orihime is almost killed. • Episode 4: And Your Bird Can Speak': Chad, Ichigo's friend, finds a bird that is said to bring bad luck. Chad takes the bird in but later finds out through Ichigo's sister, Karin, that the bird is the soul of a boy whose mother was killed in the past. • Episode 5: Beat the Invisible Enemy!: Rukia and Chad are fighting the Hollow monster hunting the boy (in bird form) from the previous episode. Ichigo appears while Rukia and Chad are fighting the Hollow, defeats it, and sends it to Hell rather than the Soul Society.http://www.freaknkewl.com/192/

• Episode 6: Fight to the Death! Ichigo vs. Ichigo: Rukia buys a spare soul for Ichigo to use when Rukia is not around and a Hollow appears. Rukia doesn't realize that the soul she bought has special powers imbued by the Soul Society. • Episode 7: Greetings From a Stuffed Toy: Ichigo and the modified soul continue to fight against each other for Ichigo's body. But, a Hollow appears and Ichigo and the modified soul defeat it together. After this, Urahara (the one who sold the soul to Rukia) removes the modified soul from Ichigo's body. • Episode 8: June 17, A Memory of Rain: On the anniversary of Ichigo's mother's death, Ichigo and his family decide to visit her grave. While visiting, Ichigo remembers when his mother died. A shinigami, a spirit, visits Rukia and inquires why she hasn't returned to the soul society. Ichigo tells the shinigami that he is a substitute for Rukia while she gets her powers back which he finds out is illegal. • Episode 9: Unbeatable Enemy: Ichigo discovers that his sisters are being attacked by a Hollow monster. He then realizes that that specific Hollow monster is the one who killed his mother five years previous. This Hollow is called the "Grandfisher" because he has avoided shinigami for more than fifty years. • Episode 10: Assault on Trip at Sacred Ground!: Don Kanonji, who is the star of a show that focuses on spirit exorcism, comes to Ichigo's town for a show. Kanonji believes that he is exorcising an earthbound spirit, but instead turns it into a Hollow monster. • Episode 11: The Legendary Quincy: Rukia and Ichigo go to a place where a Hollow was supposed to be but they find it gone and defeated. A man who calls himself Quincy then confronts the pair. Later, Orihime and Chad go to Urahara's store where are they told about the Hollows and the shimigami. • Episode 14: Back to Back: A Fight to the Death!: Rukia tells Ichigo how and why the shinigami (soul reapers) defeated Quincy two hundred years ago. Ichigo confronts Ishida and Ishida explains how Quincy was his master and how he hates the shinigami. The two have to work together to battle against the Hollows that are surrounding them. A giant Menos Grande Hollow appears as the two are fighting the other Hollows. • Episode 23: The Sentence of Rukia, Before the 14th Day: Rukia appears in the show again and is told that she only has fourteen days until her execution and gets moved into the Shrine of Penitence. At the same time, Ichigo and his friends enter Kūkaku Shiba's house. Yoruichi explains to Kūkaku Shiba where Ichigo and his friends need to go and she agrees to help them.
