Blazing Saddles

Blazing Saddles is Mel Brooks' satiric take on the Western genre about a black sheriff of an old west town who must help the townsfolk fight off a group of thugs. The film was a smash hit and is generally considered to be one of the funniest movies of all time - even landing at #6 on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 funniest movies.
