Namaste Solar Electric is headquartered out of Boulder, Colorado and also has offices in Denver. Its primary business is installing solar panels on homes and commercial buildings. Since being founded in 2005, it has grown over 100% per year to become the largest solar panel installer in the state. As of February of 2009, the company, which is owned entirely by its employees, employed over 45 people. Al employees are awarded the same salary, regardless of their job description and collaborate to make major company decisions.
