    While attending Oklahoma Christian School in his high school years, Blake Griffin led his team to state championships in each of his four years. Griffin played his freshman year of college at the University of Oklahoma. He averaged 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds during the 2007-2008 season. Griffin was named to the First Team All-Big 12 and First Team All-Rookie Big 12.     In 2009, the Sooners entered the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament as the second seed in the South Regional Bracket. They defeated Morgan State, Michigan and Syracuse to reach the South Regional Finals. The Sooners however fell in the regional finals 72 to 60 to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
