Blades of Glory is a comedy film from MTV Films starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as champion figure skaters. The film grossed $33,014,202 on its opening weekend in March of 2007.
An Odd Couple

Blades of Glory is the story of two men who are rival figure skaters. Will Ferrell plays a sex crazed, improvisational figure skater by the name of "Chazz Michael Michaels". His arch nemesis is the uptight and arrogant skater "Jimmy MacElroy," played by Jon Heder. The two have a fight at the end of a competition and end up being banned from competing individually in future competitions.
The two learn they can compete in paired competitions, but neither can find any willing female partners. They find out about a loophole in the system that allows same sex paired partners, and they team up to become figure skating's first same sex pair.
