Blade: Trinity

Blade: Trinity is the third and final film in the Blade trilogy, released in 2004 and based on the Marvel Comics vampire hunter, Blade. Blade: Trinity follows 1998's Blade and its 2002 sequel, Blade II and details Blade's fight to defeat the original vampire, Dracula, who the current vampire leader has resurrected. Though the movie did not perform well in its American release, the international release helped match the gross earnings from the successful first movie.

Plot

Vampire hunter Blade (Wesley Snipes) finds himself framed for murder in a vampire plot. He is rescued by the Nightstalkers, a band of vampire hunters led by ex-vampire Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds) and Abigail Whistler (Jessica Biel), daughter of Blade's mentor Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson). They discover the vampires' plan to resurrect the first vampire, Dracula (Dominic Purcell), and must resort to a powerful bio-weapon, the Day Star, that will wipe out all vampires. To power the device, Blade must retrieve a sample of Dracula's blood.
