Area 51 is a first-person shooter developed by Midway Studios Austin for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The story begins with the player infiltrating an Iraqi base with his special forces team in an attempt to recover possible weapons of mass destruction. Instead, they stumble upon an artifact and inadvertently disturb it, triggering an alien attack. Years after the incident, the main character finds himself called back into action to investigate the sudden reappearance of the same creatures he fought long ago.
