Blackjack is played usually played with four standard 52 card decks. Players play against the dealer and not each other. You win if you hand comes closer to 21 then the dealers without going over, going over is called a bust and you automatically loose. If you and the dealer have the same card count, then it is called a push, nobody wins, and nobody loses.

If you are dealt a blackjack then you turn your cards over and call blackjack. There is no way the dealer can beat your hand, but if the dealer is dealt a black jack it is then again another push, but the push has to be with two cards only to equal the 21. If the dealers hand equals 21 with more then two cards then you hand wins.

You have have higher odds playing blackjack then any other casino game because the dealer has to hit on 16 and stand at 17.
