RIMM co-chief executive Jim Balsillie has stated that if consumer demand is present, the company will develop a touchscreen for the BlackBerry. This could be a direct competitor to the iPhone, which does not currently provide corporate e-mail service; an area where BlackBerry has gained much of its business and praise.
