According to reports, the new version of the hand held device will be marketed as a competition to the Apple iPhone. The new phone will eliminate the physical keyboard, which has been present on all BlackBerry models to date, and will also feature an expanded touch-screen.The BlackBerry Thunder's potential as an "iPhone killer," or successful competitor to the increasingly popular Apple phone, has been the matter of considerable debate since its official announcement.
