Reviews of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 describe the BlackBerry Bold 9700 as the most advanced traditional-style BlackBerry to hit the market. The highly anticipated phone (which was code named "Onyx") was officially announced on October 21, 2009 and has an expected release time-frame of early November 2009.
The phone has enhanced memory, an improved phone and a more sophisticated optical trackpad replacing the traditional trackball from the Blackberry Bold 9000. Initially, two versions will be available, one each for T-Mobile and AT&T.
