The BlackBerry Bold is a mobile phone by wireless communications company Research In Motion Ltd. The BlackBerry Bold is the successor to the BlackBerry Pearl and the BlackBerry 8800, and was originally known as the BlackBerry 9000. AT&T Wireless has the exclusive launch rights to the phone in the United States. The phone is equipped with 3G capabilities, as well as GPS and WiFi and has a built-in web browser. The web browser is an enhanced version of previous BlackBerry software.
