Dean Durrant and Alison Spooner have had two sets of black and white twins. Durrant, who is black, and Spooner, who is white, had twin girls in 2001. One of the girls was white, the other black. Seven years later, they had another set of twins. Again, one girl was white, the other black. Genetics
Children receive one set of genes from each parent. When separate eggs are fertilized with separate sperm, as is the case with fraternal twins, they will have different characteristics.
