Wal-Mart Stampede
A Wal-Mart employee is dead after being trampled by hundreds of shoppers in a Valley Stream, New York store. Impatient shoppers rushed the doors, knocking them off their hinges, shortly before the store's 5:00 am opening. In the commotion a 34-year-old part-time worker was knocked to the ground, trampled and later died of his injuries. Toys R Us Shooting
Two people are dead, and possibly more injured, in a shooting incident at a Toys R Us store in Palm Desert, California. Reports say that two teenage men got into an argument and pulled weapons on each other in the crowded toy store.
