Black Friday 2009 ads, traditionally released during Thanksgiving week, just before Black Friday have been leaked prematurely for some stores, notably Office Max. However, that ad was believed to be a draft, not the final version of the advertisement.http://www.2009blackfridayads.com/
Black Friday, the Friday following Thanksgiving, is one of the busiest shopping days of the year and kicks off the traditional Christmas shopping season. A common misconception is called Black Friday because it is often the day retailers reach a profit for the year, or go from being in the red to in the black. However the name was originally given to the day by Philadelphia police officers reflecting their dread of the heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic. -
