Biz Markie is one of the pioneering artists from Hip-Hop's early years, first establishing himself through his beat-box talents. As part of "The Juice Crew", Biz was one of the first artists to work for Marley Marl's Cold Chillin' record label. He is known for his humorous songs such as Just a Friend and Pickin Boogers, earning the nickname "The Clown Prince of Hip-Hop".
