Bishop Allen is an Indie Rock based in Brooklyn, New York City. There are only two regular members—neither of whom play the drums—so they rely on collaborators to produce and perform their songs, which often feature a variety of instruments in them.
The Year of EPs
After they released their debut album, Charm School, they set out on a project to produce a four-song EP every month in 2006. It was a project meant to explore their ability to self-release material. While all 12 EPs were generally well-received, the band decided to release their next full-length album through a record label.
