  • Biscotti are crisp, dried cookies cut lengthwise and flavored with nuts or anise. The dessert is sometimes covered or dipped in chocolate and is often served with drinks such as wine, coffee or hot chocolate.
  • Ingredients

    1. Flour
    2. Sugar
    3. Eggs
    4. Baking powder
    5. Anise
    6. Chocolate (optional)
    7. Nuts (optional)

  • How to Make Biscotti

    1. Mix two parts flour with one part sugar and eggs, creating a stiff batter
    2. Add baking powder and anise
    3. Form into a slab and bake for 25 minutes
    4. Cut into individual cookies and bake again. The longer the cookies are baked, the harder they will become
    5. After cooled they may be dipped in chocolate
