BioShock the movie will be a feature film adaption of the the original sci-fi themed first-person shooter game released in late 2007 to critical acclaim. Not only for its gameplay but also its immersive storyline, set in a ruined underwater city named Rapture.

Budget Concerns
In early summer 2009, Universal Pictures put a hold on production of BioShock the movie.
