- COLLECTIBLE: When the level begins, turn around and head backwards. You'll find it at the very end of the room. (1/5)
- Head towards the waypoint to enter the garden and trigger a cutscene.
- In this next room there are a bunch of snipers from all sorts of vantage points. If you want to collect the collectible in this area, follow the sniper's lasers and take them out. Otherwise, you can just swing by them towards the next waypoint.
- COLLCTIBLE: Work your way all the way up to the very top of this area and you'll find the collectible on top of an intersection of supports. (2/5)
- Once you reach the waypoint, head through the next doorway and swing across the bars above to reach the next room.
- Once you reach the room with the Relay, you'll be attacked by a Lancer Biomech. These guys are the same as Standard Biomechs, except they come equipped with a large beam weapon.
- TIP: Once you stun a Lancer Biomech, they will drop their gun. If you latch on to their gun and press X, you can pick up the gun yourself and use it against them.
- When the Lancer is down, more enemies will flood the room from the entrance. You can use the Lancer's gun to take them out, or you can swing over to them and use your whip attack to kill them all at once.
- Once all of the enemies are defeated, head over to the Relay and hack it.
- COLLECTIBLE: Jump down to right underneath the Relay to find the next collectible. (3/5)
- COLLECTIBLE: Head to the back of the room and you'll find the collectible underneath the bridge just above the water. It can be a little tricky to collect. Try swinging into it using the momentum gained from zipping to a spot close by. (4/5)
- Backtrack over to the room with the snipers but be ready for another group of enemies on the way.
- Once you're back at the sniper area, a pod will drop containing a Hiker. Pick it up if you want it and then head towards the next waypoint.
- You'll eventually come to another similar looking room as the one where you fought the Lancer Biomech, but this time you'll be fighting against two of them at the same time. Take them down the same way, but try to make sure you're only dealing with one at a time.
- COLLECTIBLE: The final collectible for the level is located on the second story, right side. (5/5)
- After killing the two Biomechs, use your radar to locate the one lone enemy that appears and then wait for a hole to open up underground.
- Head down the hole and follow the waypoint to reach the end of the level.
Ascension City Park III
- Enjoy the short lived peace and quiet as you head towards the waypoint until you start getting targeted by snipers. A pod will drop on the left side containing a Yelena.
- COLLECTIBLE: Also on the left side, well before the pod, is the first collectible. (1/6)
- COLLECTIBLE: Once you grab the Yelena, head down into the stream below and proceed forward against the current. Behind a bunch of movable rocks is the next collectible. (2/6)
- Use the Yelena to take out the four snipers and then climb to the top of the building up ahead.
- COLLECTIBLE: At the top of the building is also the second collectible. (3/6)
- Look down below and you'll spot several enemies guarding the Relay. Take out a few of them and then jump down and use Death From Above to try and do some extra damage to the remaining soldiers.
- Once the enemies here are dead, hack the Relay to disable the minefield.
- Descend into the pit below by using the mines to slow your fall and follow the waypoint.
- COLLECTIBLE: The fourth collectible is suspended below one of the first mines you see. (4/6)
- Once you're outside again, follow the next waypoint all the way to the next Relay. Along the way you'll be contacted by a mysterious soldier who will question what you are doing on the battlefield.
- COLLECTIBLE: On the way to the Relay you'll come across a large waterfall on the left side. Climb to the top and follow the path over to the next collectible. (5/6)
- Kill all of the guards surrounding the Relay and then hack it as usual.
- COLLECTIBLE: Turn right from the Relay and climb the large tower of rocks straight ahead. At the top is the final collectible. (6/6)
- Once the mines are disabled, take a leap of faith down towards the next waypoint and work your way towards the minefield.
- Swing across the mines and then head into the tunnel to finish the level.
Ascension City Park IV
- No enemies or obstacles in this level. Just follow the waypoints and collect the collectibles.
- COLLECTIBLE: The first collectible should be in plain sight near the entrance on the left side. (1/5)
- COLLECTIBLE: Also in plain sight as you're walking along the road. (2/5)
- COLLECTIBLE: Keep going forward after you reach collectible #2 and follow the edge around to find the third collectible. (3/5)
- COLLECTIBLE: Once you reach the courtyard for the Federal Archives, climb to the top of the monument for the next collectible. (4/5)
- COLLECTIBLE: Head to the left of the monument and head over to the farthest tree on the right. It's a bit tough, but you want to try to swing so that you can jump over the red wall where the collectible awaits. It seems to work the best if you jump before you latch on. (5/5)
Federal Archives
- YouTube: Federal Archives (Time: 9:22)
- Contrary to the previous level, this one is almost entirely combat. Take the time you have before you touch the waypoint to collect the two collectibles in this level.
- COLLECTIBLE: The first one is on top of the monument right in front of you. (1/2)
- COLLECTIBLE: The second one is straight ahead from the start suspended in the air. (2/2)
- Once you're ready for a huge fight, head towards the waypoint to activate a cutscene.
- The first wave of enemies will come from the two domes on the left and right sides of the level. Head over to one of the sides and try to catch them while they're still dropping inside.
- TIP: Your best friends in this level are the bookcases. Never stray too far from them and always try to keep one between you and the enemies. Use everything at your disposal. Punch up rocks and debris to knock at enemies, latch on to isolated enemies throw them towards a group of enemies, and use hit and run tactics with the Death From Above technique by jumping from the top floor down to the bottom.
- Periodically, pods will drop containing Bulldogs and Yelenas. Use these to your advantage and don't be conservative with their ammo.
- You'll eventually be attacked by a swarm of Emergency Drones. Check over at the pod drops for a machine gun and use it to take down as many as you can. When you bring down enough, the rest will retreat.
- Once you hold off the onslaught, your objective will be complete and you'll gain a waypoint that will let you end the level.
The Mohole
- YouTube: The Mohole (Time: 9:57)
- Swing towards the waypoint until you come to an edge where you will oversee a couple of enemies patrolling a broken freeway part.
- COLLECTIBLE: Turn to the right once you reach the edge and you should see the first collectible.
- Jump on down and take care of the enemies using whatever means you deem necessary.
- COLLECTIBLE: Underneath this road is the second collectible. It is located at the end of the road, furthest from the waypoint.
- Once you clear the area, swing towards the waypoint and get ready for a boss fight.
- COLLECTIBLE: Before you touch the waypoint, make sure that you grab the third collectible, which is suspended in the air between the first and second freeway signs. Use the first freeway sign support as a swinging anchor to grab it.
BOSS - The Mohole
- The Mohole is a giant worm that likes to move underground and shoot lasers at you via the eye at the top of its head.
- Your opportunity to deal damage to the boss comes when its eye starts glowing, indicating that its about to shoot its laser at you. When this happens, shoot it with your weapons or throw a car at it.
- TIP: Periodically, a pod will drop containing a Bulldog. Use it to deal some major damage to the Mohole when its eye starts glowing.
- After dealing some damage to it, the worm will go back underground and will move around the arena. You can follow where it goes by looking for the black cloud trail that it leaves behind.
- TIP: When it goes underground, hold down the X button. Doing so will immediately center your camera to where the worm emerges and it will also give you a heads up when the boss starts using its charge attack. When it uses this, make sure to evade to the left or right to avoid getting hit.
- Once you bring the boss down to half of its life, it will fall to the ground and give you the chance to latch on to its eye. Do so and it will throw you up into the air and attempt to shoot a laser at you. Use your Death From Above technique on the way back down to nail it right in the eye.
- After you use Death From Above once, it will start using a new attack. When it straightens out and looks towards the sky, it is going to use a shockwave attack so be ready to jump over the rings of energy that it emits.
- While it is using this shockwave attack, you can also shoot at the glowing eye to deal some extra damage to it
- Once you bring the Mohole's health down to next to nothing, it will again fall to the ground allowing you the chance to deliver one more Death From Above.
- When the battle is over, check the pods that drop for a weapon that you like, and then head towards the waypoint.
