  • About the Game

Bionic Commando is the first true sequel to the classic game released for the NES and other platforms in 1988. The game features full 3D graphics and now uses an over-the-shoulder point of view, similar to that of Resident Evil 4. There is also precision aiming, dodge mechanics and quick weapon swapping.

Nathan Spencer is charged with taking out a terrorist group that detonated a massive experimental weapon in Ascension City. Spencer has access to an arsenal of weapons like pistols and machine guns, but his real strength lies in his bionic arm. He can use it to pummel enemies, toss them from rooftops, scale buildings and swing through the air.

Bionic Commando features a competitive 10-person multiplayer mode that gives players a chance to test their skills on 16 different maps. Although melee combat plays a much less important role in multiplayer matches, many other elements from the single-player game remain viable. Players can swing on ziplines to reach power ups before their opponents and scale buildings to find good vantage points.GameTrailers.com: Bionic Commando Preview (Time: 3:12) GameVideos: 1UP Show: Bionic Commando Multiplayer Impressions (Time: 8:42)
