The Furnace

- Fly to area 11 and enter the Furnace level. Use the grapple hook to swing along the ceiling and avoid using the moving platform. Watch out for rolling droids and melee soldiers along the path. If Spencer is quick enough, fighting can be completely avoided.
- Travel to the northeast corner and climb up the narrow passage. Kill the melee soldiers with the vector cannon. Take a right and move into the Comm. room.
- HACK: The topic of discussion pertains to the upgrades that went into creating the second version of the Fabricator.
- TIP: Move left and swing past the concrete block. You can continue left to reach the boss room quickly or drop down a shaft. Look for a passage on the left side of the shaft. Swing into it and use the power claw to loosen the bolt at the hole in the wall. Backtrack to the Comm. room and swing past the immobile concrete block again. Swing a couple times and look for a second shaft. Fall down it to find the room holding Secret Challenge 7 on the left.
- YASHICHI: Backtrack to the Comm. room again and move towards the block on the left. Pull Spencer up to the ceiling right above the block. Land on the block and swing to the left. Immediately fire the grapple hook up and latch onto a pipe. Pull Spencer up and latch onto a second pipe to the left. Pull Spencer up again and latch onto the platform. Swing to the left along the ceiling. Land on the platform with the patrolling soldier. Move to the far left and collect the Yashichi. (11/12)
- Getting to the boss room is a matter of starting at the block near the Comm. room and latching onto the metal canisters along the western path. Continue swinging from the canisters until they run out. Allow Spencer to fall and he should land on a long platform.
- Use the air vent to propel Spencer upwards and swing twice on two more canisters. The boss room is on the far west platform.
- The improved version of the Fabricator attacks with a string of three spike attacks. Watch the lights around the perimeter of metal structure. They indicate what order that the spikes appear. Use the grapple hook to block the spikes.
- Avoid the spinning metal arms by running left and right to stay in the middle. After the fabricator runs out of juice, swing from the lowered control room and latch onto the middle of the unit. Shoot rockets or the machine gun into the cockpit to destroy it.
- The reward for killing the boss is the Bulletproof Vest. It provides an extra hit of protection on top of the shin guards.

The Imperial Headquarters

- Fly the chopper to area 12 and enter the Imperial Headquarters. Move to the right and hop on the elevator. Take it to the bottom floor.
- YASHICHI: The paths diverge at the bottom. Move to the left and enter the door. Run to the far left side and kill the rolling droids. Grab the extra life and shoot the ceiling turrets as well. Use the grapple hook to swing along the ceiling. The Yashichi is in the northeast corner of the room. (12/12)
- Return to the elevator and move to the right this time. Ride down a second smaller elevator and enter the Comm. room on the right to contact HQ.
- HACK: The enemy communication is about the enemy forces being moved to protect the Albatross as well as some info on an electrical problem.
- Exit the Comm. room and ride the elevator to the bottom floor. Don't worry about stopping to kill the shielded soldiers or droids. Run to the left and enter the door. Use the grapple hook to climb the platforms quickly and avoid touching the electrical pulse moving along the floor.
- Enter the door about four floors up. Shoot the droids and ceiling turrets with the vector cannon. Climb to the top of the room and use the grapple claw to pull on the chain. This shuts off the electrical pulse. Exit the room and climb up to the exit. #Take the elevator down to the bottom floor again and move to the right. Use a third elevator to move down one floor. Enter the room on the right. Swing past the concrete block and kill the droid with the vector cannon or plasma rifle.
- Move downward and avoid the electrical pulse in the floor. Shoot the wall turret with the vector cannon and move to the left. Climb up and use the grapple claw to shut down the electricity again. Exit to the north.
- Take the elevator to the bottom floor and kill the shielded soldier. Move left and hop on a fourth elevator. Ride to the bottom and use very short swings to cross the pit with the spikes. Use the shotgun for momentum if Spencer came to a halt.
- Enter the door at the end of the hall to face off with the "boss". There's no fighting involved. Watch the short sequence to end the level. There is no reward for completing this section.
