The Albatross

- TIP: You may want to drive around to FSA camps and collect extra lives before attempting this mission.
- Move to the right and enter the second door. Hop on the elevator and move upwards. Enter the first room. It has a gear over the door. Run to the left and fall down the long tunnel. Fall off the ledge to the right and enter the door on the southwest end of the room.
- Grab the handle on the opposite side of the room and pull down. Exit the hallway and proceed to the right. Swing through the first set of metal sliding poles and land on the set of three poles. Use the poles to reach the platform above Spencer.
- Get the vector cannon ready and ride on the rotating platforms to the right. Latch onto the platform and fire the vector cannon at the ceiling turrets immediately. Walk slowly to the left across the flipping platform. Fall down the pit when the metal poles are sliding back into the wall.
- Swing to the left and use the grapple hook to climb back up. Watch out for a solider that appears on the upper level. Run to the right and avoid getting squashed by the metal poles. Walk to the end of the hall and exit the gear room.
- Enter the gas room and move to the bottom floor. Watch out for the streams of yellow gas. Use the vector cannon to blow up any ceiling turrets and move to the left side. Use the grapple hook to climb the platforms.
- Toss the exploding yellow barrel out of the way and continue moving up. Shoot the ceiling turrets and enter the room on the top platform. Similar to the metal poles, Spencer has to time his movement through the streams of gas. Move to the opposite end of the hall and pull the handle to stop the streams of gas.
- Backtrack to the entrance. Shoot the ceiling turrets that respawned. Spencer doesn't have to worry about any streams of poisonous gas though.
- Enter the electrical room on the right. Take the elevator down a floor and move slowly through the electrical beams. Drop to a lower level and use the grapple hook to swing over the electrified floor. Take the elevator down another floor.
- Swing across the electric floor on the black pipes. Ride down yet another elevator on the opposite side and use the grapple hook to pull the handle on the right. Ride down the elevator to the bottom floor and climb up the platforms.
- There's a handle on the right, but it's covered by a constant electrical stream. Move to the left and swing across along the passage. Move down the alternating platforms and avoid the electrical pulse on the floors. Pull the handle at the bottom of the area.
- Use the grapple hook to climb quickly. Move to the right and pull the final handle. The lights in the facility go out. Swing to the left and fall back down the alternating platforms. Look for an elevator on the left side of the room.
- Pull out the vector cannon and ride down the elevator. Fire on the ceiling turrets and move Spencer to the opposite end of the room. Use the grapple hook to climb several platforms and climb some piping as well. Exit through the main entrance.
- Proceed to the right and enter the room with the red bar over it. Use the vector cannon to fire on the turrets and move to the left. Use the grapple hook to climb the platforms with the flipping trapdoors. Try to find the regular platforms before firing at turrets.
- Continue climbing until locating the door in the middle of the area. Enter and start moving to the right. Use grenades to kill soldiers on lower levels and run through the area wielding the bazooka. Move quickly and look for an elevator on the east end of the room.
- Ride up a second elevator and use the grapple hook to climb small platforms. Kill the shielded soldier and use the grapple hook to pull the lever in the northeast corner of the room. Backtrack down the elevator and look for an open passage that leads left.
- Kill the soldier and the droids along the path. Yank on a second handle and return to the right. Kill another soldier and enter the newly opened door. Move to the right to kill soldiers and climb a couple platforms.
- Swing to the left and use the vector cannon to blow up the ceiling turrets. Use the grapple hook to pull down two handles on the ceiling. Exit the room and ride the elevator back up. Use the grapple hook to climb and kill the shielded soldier.
- Move to the left and ride the sliding platforms. Spencer can also swing with the grapple hook in the second half. Be wary of the electrified floor. Climb up the platforms on the left and kill the rolling droids. Pull the handle in the following room.
- TIP: Instead of heading right, backtrack across the sliding platforms and down the elevator. Move to the left down the hallway next to the room with the double handles. Pick up the BC Prototype at the end of the hall.
- Return to the final handle and move right along the passage. Shoot the ceiling turrets with the vector cannon. Move up the elevator on the right side. Shoot the soldiers along the passage and move up a second elevator on the left side. Enter the door on the right.
- Climb up onto the rainy platform and watch the chopper get shot down. Collect the Bazooka Upgrade. The upgrade assigns control of the rocket's flight path to RS. Use the new skill with the rocket to blast the two switches to the left and right of the elevator.
- The final boss fight pits Spencer against a giant hovercraft. When the hovercraft starts firing rockets, block them with the grapple hook. Similar to the Fabricator fight, the rockets only arrive in the seven directions of the grapple hook.
- Avoid the machine gun fire after the hovercraft approaches. Fire a couple rockets with the bazooka and use the directional control to weaken the cockpit of the hovercraft. Repeat this process.
- The hovercraft also uses a laser attack occasionally. Stay in between the laser fire and wait for the hovercraft to approach again before firing a rocket. Continue firing on the cockpit until the death animation occurs and the hovercraft explodes.
- Spencer has to evacuate the facility now. Take the elevator back down and move through the door on the left. Follow the dimly lit passage to the right and climb up the seemingly endless number of platforms.
- Spencer runs into a robotic version of Gottfried Groeder. There's really no time to fight this fool due to the countdown. Start climbing the platforms on the left and leave Groeder behind. Exit through the door at the top of the room.
- CUTSCENE: The floating castle comes crashing down into the water. Joe and Spencer safely escape the facility.
