The Binghamton Senators are a minor league ice hockey team playing in the East Division of the American Hockey League. The Senators began playing in Binghamton during the 2002-03 season. The franchise, which is an affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators, had not played since the 1995-96, when they were known as the Prince Edward Island Senators.
