September 6, 2007: A posting on an Islamic militant website, frequented by Al Qaeda, stated that Osama Bin Laden planned to release a new video prior to the the sixth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. On September 7, 2007, the U.S. Government confirmed it possessed the video and was checking its authenticity.
Second Video
On the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks a second video was released in which a voice claiming to be Bin Laden delivers a eulogy for 9/11 hijacker Waleed al-Shehri.
