Billy Squier

  • Billy Squier is an American rock musician who sang the songs "Lonely Is the Night," "My Kinda Lover," "Everybody Wants You" and "The Stroke", which were from his 1981 album Don't Say No.

    Before striking out on his Squier performed with Magic Terry & The Universe. He also played with The Sidewinders during the early 70s. He finally released his debut solo album in 1980, after signing with Capital Records.

    Squier is noted for having worked with Freddie Mercury on Enough is Enough, his 1986 release. Mercury also sang backup on the song "Emotions in Motion."
