Billy Mays was found dead in his Tampa, Florida, home by his wife Deborah on the morning of June 28, 2009. Upon examination, Medical Examiner Vernard Adams discovered that Mays had hypertensive heart disease and stated that the disease was "perfectly consistent with sudden death."
