Billy Gillispie, the former coach of the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team, was arrested in the early morning hours of August 27, 2009, on charges of DUI.
Gillispie was pulled over in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, around 2:45 a.m., refused to take a breathalyzer or blood alcohol test and was arrested. A passenger was also arrested for public intoxication. This is the third alcohol-related arrest for Gillispie.
