• Battle With Anorexia

  In her autobiography Growing Pains, Piper detailed her battle with anorexia at the age of 16. She reported that she took laxatives, and even tried to eat tissues to control her hunger. According to Piper, she became briefly anorexic again when her marriage broke up, but has since recovered from the disorder.
