Bill Weber was a former professional baseball player. He was a third baseman in the MLB from 1930 to 1945, notably appearing on the New York Yankees in the early years of his career, playing along with Babe Ruth. Werber also played for the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants. He passed away on January 22, 2009, from age-related causes at the age of 100, the oldest living ex-major leaguer at that time.
